Abstract: Generic Object Services and the SAP Content Server
The storage and retrieval of document images in SAP has become very common place recently. However, the complexity of Document Management within SAP can vary greatly. This session will take a look at the often overlooked role that Generic Object Services can play within a transaction when connected to the SAP Content Server. The session will also bring to light the issues around storing documents in the SAP Database, and will review the migration techniques used to migrate these documents stored in the SAP Database to the SAP Content Server.
